The Newcomers Guidance Cell this year continues to function as before, providing assistance to new families arriving in the GTA, and seeking to become part of our church family at St. Mathew's. The Welcome and Information Kit which was revised and updated at the end of last year, is routinely handed out to new families arriving at our church. Assistance with the settling in process is provided by our Cell members and resource pool members, as needed. Employment opportunities in various fields are often posted on the church bulletin board, and announced in church. Interested persons are directed to the proper contact who can assist them. New families who need any kind of information or assistance, are encouraged to contact the Cell members listed below, or the Coordinator.
